Controle Social: orientação da sociedade para efetiva fiscalização e controle de recursos públicos

Abstract

This article addresses the theme of social control, which is the participation of society in planning and monitoring the execution of Government actions, assisting in the fight against corruption and strengthening the transparency of public spending. The objective is to demonstrate the importance the participation of society in the activities of the State, mainly in the fight against corruption, demonstrating the level of knowledge in relation to the subject and presenting tools for is exercised correctly. For this, as a method of procedure, a research was carried out descriptive, with the application of a questionnaire to collect data and evaluate the education level of society in relation to the topic addressed, starting from a general approach, up to the tools for exercise social control in an efficient way, causing less corruption and misuse of public resources. It was observed that the application of these tools is essential for citizenship is actually exercised by the population, and that although all information is available, the access is infrequent due to little instruction from the state. With that, it is of great empowering society through initiatives adopted by the State, thereby improving social control and generating benefits to the population.
