Abstract

This article presents a reading of the poetic work of Farias Carvalho entitled Pássaro de cinz, originally published in 1957. Initially, it is intended to sketch a brief biographical sketch a brief biographical note about the author, as well as situate his participation in the Clube da Madrugada. Next, we will look at various aspects of this work by the poet, as the significant link with a poetic socially committed, the imagetic imagetic structures and the dialogue between poetry and prose.
