The city´s formation is closely linked to the incredibly prosperous cultivation of rubber in the nineteenth century; the period was responsible for the European character of the city. In this sense, the Centro Cultural Largo de São Sebastião, located in the Historic Center, is one of the main attractions of the city. Therefore, it would be beneficial to investigate the profile of visitors to the Centro Cultural Largo de São Sebastião and to learn how satisfied they are with the services offered there. The aim of this research is to create profiles of the Centro´s tourists and to determine their level of satisfaction. Doing so will make it possible to design marketing strategies in the hope of making improvements in the planning, dissemination and characterization of this important attraction in the city. The present study was developed through both qualitative and quantitative research. The methodology used was exploratory and descriptive, and a more accurate and structured data collection remains possible. The study made use of a questionnaire placed at the Centro Cultural Largo de São Sebastião and in a nearby hotel between May 5, 2018 and May 15, 2018, with non-probabilistic sampling, with 207 interviews carried out as study in order to obtain results through the tabulation and verification of the data collected. This research aims to foment tourist activity in the city of Manaus by making use of the tourists´ feedback about the services offered there because it was possible to trace the profile of the tourist consumer and his satisfaction. and to facilitate further research among students and professionals in tourism with the overall objective of providing an excellent experience for visitors. .
