Item Qual é o lar da empregada doméstica? a intersecção entre espaço, desigualdade e experiências no trabalho doméstico(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024-04-30) Lima, Queren Silva; Valle, Geraldo Jorge Tupinambá do; Valle, Geraldo Jorge Tupinambá do; Santos, Tatiana de Lima Pedrosa; Ribeiro, Odenei de SouzaDomestic work is carried out in Brazil by a majority of black women. Historically, this work began to be delegated to domestic slaves who were brought from Africa through the slave trade and, even after the abolition of slavery in 1888, these relationships between masters and slaves did not end. After many struggles and achievements, domestic work was regulated by the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) in 2015, when Complementary Law No. 150, known as PEC das Domésticas, was regulated. However, research shows that the number of workers who still work irregularly is exorbitant. Numbers also show that the majority of workers in this role are black women and that they receive less than they should because they do not have a formal contract. Given this scenario, it is clear that domestic workers inhabit, in their daily lives, places where social, symbolic and economic differences are accentuated, under a disguised familiarity. This study aims to understand the concept of home for workers who move between places that evoke affection and familiarity while also evoking differences and inequalities. The research is carried out bibliographically at first, where there is a deepening of guiding theoretical questions; secondly, the research is carried out in the form of semi-structured interviews with domestic workers. It is understood that issues such as affection, inequalities and the job market directly influence the definition of the meaning of home, for the interviewees.Item Corpus Amazônida: a dança contemporânea no processo de identidade cultural da comunidade ribeirinha Bela Vista do lago do Puraquequara(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2022-03-11) Sicsú, Larissa da Silva; Santos, Eneila Almeida dos; Santos, Eneila Almeida dos; Jesus, Edilza Laray de; Passos, Yara dos Santos CostaOne of the most complex beginnings in the trajectory of the human being is the idea of identity, it becomes instigating to reflect on how it is expressed in the most physical character, which is the body. For the individual coming from unique spaces, such as the Amazon, the riverside stands out, especially the one around the city of Manaus, in particular that of the Bela Vista do Lago do Puraquequara community. In this sense, we sought to understand what this being is and how it manifests itself, its influences and movements fostered in its experience. In the light of a process guided by authors such as Pierre Bourdieu, Michel Foucault and Rudolf Laban, who approach, a priori, the body from different prisms, a dialectic that configures the individual as social praxis was highlighted. Emphasizing the body as a scenario and social influences, as an image of oneself and of the other in the disciplinary process and also as intentions and attributions of movements, listing elements from extensive studies relevant to the social sciences, highlighted from the theorists referenced in this. Guided by the art of Dance, especially the look at the body through the Liberating Dance, inspired by important names in contemporary dance, such as Klauss and Angel Vianna, this method based on bodily freedom, instigates the unveiling of organic dancing, of gestural expression. and emotions. Conducted by a qualitative bias, supported by a bibliographic survey and with the method of participant research, this work aimed to understand the identity nuances of the riverside populations. Thus, it was observed that through the field of theoretical dialogues and the experimentation carried out in the research field, primordial elements for this understanding were unveiled, highlighting the time-space relationship of this resident in line with the symbolic power of the waters; his self-affirmation as a riverside dweller, being a resident of the neighborhood or the lake, his decision to choose the community as a dwelling, as well as the expression of his poetics in his daily work. Thus, it was found that this resident incorporated his expressiveness in his relationship with nature and in community, an uninterrupted movement, like the seasonal waters of the Amazon. Despite the obstacles of the pandemic context, it was seen that the research objectives were achieved and that there is much to be understood about riverside populations, and continuity in the theme addressed is essential.Item Casas e a Memória: estudo sobre as edificações residenciais do Centro Histórico de Manaus(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-02-15) Oliveira, Lauriane Teixeira de; Santos , Tatiana de Lima Pedrosa; Santos, Tatiana de Lima Pedrosa; Valle, Geraldo Jorge Tupinambá do; Nascimento, Maria Evany doThis research proposes a critical and discursive analysis of heritage, memory, place, identity and culture and their interactions and articulations with three residential buildings located in the Historic Center of Manaus. The Historic Center of the city is the result of its historical process of formation, and that presents constructions, such as buildings, palaces, squares and monuments, with high architectural and urbanistic standards. In the Old Center it is possible to find residential buildings with the same characteristics of the period of their construction. Therefore, the analysis consists in understanding the dynamics of the historical, socioeconomic and cultural formation process, which is essential in the interpretation of these factors applied to the architectural and urban production of the city, and especially of these buildings. The discussions and notes of the conceptual and epistemological trajectory of the cultural heritage and its legal interactions in heritage management are included. As well as the conceptual discussion of Historic Center, and the characterization of the area where these houses are located. In addition, it sought to relate and critically discuss the eclectic model and the slope called Belle Époque that influenced and determined the urban and architectural improvements, implying the adoption of materials and construction techniques, as well as assimilation and cultural imposition of foreign values and customs. Relating these aspects in the production of these houses and their characteristics. And finally, the contribution of the narratives obtained through interviews with the owners of these houses, relating their memories and their experiences with the theoretical and conceptual approaches of memory and place. In addition to the interactions and contributions of the narratives of the interviewees and their families to the memory and identity of the city. The study also pointed out the management of heritage, its applicability and functionality, and the new perspectives for safeguarding the built heritage. It was sought, therefore, to highlight the relevance of these narratives in the memorial and identity contribution, in the historical and symbolic architecture of these buildings and their interdisciplinary interpretations in studies on heritage and culture.Item O lugar da poesia de violeta branca na produção literária amazonense do século XX(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-06-22) Cordeiro, Elcione Sousa da Silva; Costa, Veronica Prudente; Wankler, Cátia Monteiro; Holanda, Yomarley Lopes; Oliveira, Rita do Perpétuo Socorro Barbosa de; Silveira, Cristiane daAmazonian literature has a vast and significant literary production. Despite this, the lack of dissemination, appreciation and the few writings about it make the literature appears in a timid or even unknown way both on the national and regional scene. The most prominent works are those written by men. And the women, who also contributed to the this significant production construction are silenced and often forgotten in the literary world. In this sense, this study aims to investigate Violeta Branca’s life and literary production, her place as an author in the mid-20th century Amazonas context, considering gender and identity issues and highlighting the her writings pioneering. For this, specifically, we observed Violeta Branca's life trajectory and her insertion in Amazonian poetry, we studied the issues of gender, identity and female authorship in the author's poems and we discussed her poetry through her memories produced in her poetic maturity. As theoretical foundation, we used Bourdieu (2002), Woolf (2014), Spivak (2010), Soihet (2004), Telles and Krüger (2006), Souza (2010), Schmidt (2009), Silva (2010), Moraes (2001), Viana (1995), Bachelard (1994) among other authors. In addition to these, we used the following Violeta Branca’s works: Ritmos de inquieta alegria/ Rhythm of restless joy (2014), Reencontro: poemas de ontem e de hoje/ Reencounter: poems from yesterday and today (1982), Concerto a quatro mãos/ Four hands concert (1981), and sources from the digital library available on the internet, as a contribution to the theoretical support for the research. In this study, we point out Violeta Branca Menescal de Vasconcellos as the precursor of female poetry produced in Amazonas in the 1930s and the first woman to join the Academia Amazonense de Letras, in 1937. From this study, it is possible to know literature through the eyes of a woman who faced the prejudice of her time and wrote her name in the literary history of Amazonas, breaking paradigms at a time when regional Literature was taking its first steps in the construction of its literary identity and in a predominantly male context.Item “Nossa sala de aula será o Médio Solimões”: A aprendizagem no contexto do Centro Vocacional Tecnológico – Tecnologias Sociais da Amazônia(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-08-22) Martins, Eliomara Ramos; Bezerra, Nelissa Peralta; Bezerra, Nelissa Peralta; Rabelo, Ana Maria Gomes; Machado, Rita de Cássia FragaThis research aimed to analyze learning processes at the Technological Vocational Center - Amazonian Social Technologies (CVT-TSA) of the Mamirauá Institute for Sustainable Development (IDSM), headquartered in Tefé, AM. In order to describe and analyze learning process, the situated learning theoretical approach was used (LAVE and WENGER, 1991), as well as the understanding of education of attention (INGOLD, 2010). Theories that allowed us to see the diversity and complexity of existing learning processes. The study approaches learning as a social practice, and not as an individual and psychological phenomenon, that is, the approach considers participation and learning as inseparable and closely related (LAVE, 1996). Research methodology include a qualitative approach, using ethnographic research. Data collection instruments used were participant observation, documentary research and semi-structured interviews. Thereby it was possible to unveil that learning in the context of the CVT/TSA was based on several pedagogical events in which students were able to act as protagonists of their learning. Participation in decision-making indicate that the first group of students (class 2014-2015), the CVT proposed to follow a course towards a differentiated education, this trajectory went through several moments of difficulties, revealing that any agent or institution that proposes to work with an education that truly promotes the autonomy of the subjects faces great challenges.Item O Corpo Contemporâneo dos Tikuna: política, identidade e território.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-08) Souza, Madirson Francisco; Rapozo, Pedro Henrique Coelho; Rapozo, Pedro Henrique Coelho; Dantas, Alexsandro Galeno Araújo; Ferreira, Lúcia Marina PugaThe research project "The Contemporary Body of Tikuna: politics, identity and territory establish from the bibliographic review and interdisciplinary approach about the body as territory of culture.
