Modelagem matemática na oxigenação do sangue
(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-10-16) Macedo, Daniel Cobos; Chaveco, Antonio Ivan Ruiz
The present work aims to analyze how mathematical modeling can be used in the blood oxygenation process. This is an exploratory, qualitative research, through a literature review, using the SciELO and Google Scholar databases. There were seven articles chosen for qualitative analysis, but only three were used and compared in the discussion of the results. Based on the studies analyzed, it was possible to simulate several characteristics of the experimental test in mathematical models. The modeling used was successful in quantifying the concentrations of oxygen and carbon dioxide present in the blood. The tiny number of articles found relating to the topic interferes in a limiting way with the conclusions of this review. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out new studies in order to analyze how mathematical modeling can be used in the blood oxygenation process, as well as to update studies on this topic.

Multifractalidade dos níveis do rio amazonas para a cidade de tabatinga
(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-10-16) Mata, Cindy Gabrielle Dacio da; Filho, Edilson de Carvalho
The present work is a multifractal analysis of the levels of the Amazon River for the city of Tabatinga. The data used was collected between the years 1982 and 2022, and obtained from the official website of the National Water Agency. We obtain the multifractal characterization of the level series from the MF-DFA method. Initially, we sought to clarify some important concepts for understanding the work and from this, we were able to carry out each step of the method. After these procedures we were able to achieve the main objective of this work, which is to characterize the dynamics of the floods and ebbs of the Amazon River near the city of Tabatinga through a multifractal spectrum extracted from the multifractal detrended fluctuation analysis (MF-DFA) method. ).

In this work we present the British mathematician and physicist George Gabriel Stokes, as well as some of his main contributions to the development of human knowledge, aiming to demonstrate the famous Stokes Theorem and its applications in Mathematics and Physics. A bibliographic study was carried out, based on the book by Chaveco (2015), scientific articles that address the subject and other calculation books. Some essential definitions of Vector Calculus are presented, for a better understanding of the theorem. Therefore, it was possible to understand with this work, an expansion of studies on vector fields, line integrals (curvilinear), surface integrals, the work carried out, concepts that are very important to arrive at the demonstration of the theorem. We also conclude that Stokes' Theorem is of fundamental importance, as it makes it possible to find significant results with great applicability in Physics, Mechanics, Chemistry, Engineering and other areas that involve the calculation of fluids.

Descrição da produção de açaí de quatro famílias produtoras da comunidade São João de Veneza
(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-10-16) Leandro, Edilson Cavalcante; Pereira, Edfram Rodrigues
Açaí is a palm tree that occurs naturally in upland environments or in the floodplains of the Amazon estuary, and is extremely important in the diet and income generation of riverside dwellers. With the aim of describing the production of açaí wine in the indigenous community São João de Veneza, municipality of Benjamim Constant – AM, an interview was carried out with the application of 20 questions to 4 producers, as a result we detected that families have their açaí plantation managed with guidance from IDAM technicians, however the majority of the collection is from plants present in nature. Therefore, we realize that the community has great potential for growth in açaí production, we highlight that the harvest is carried out from January to June, but in 2022 the community received 12 thousand açaí seedlings of the Pai d'agua type, donated by IDAM, which will produce all year round. The community only produces açaí wine, so it can invest in the production of other derived foods. As a result, research shows that açaí cultivation has great economic potential.

Análise da eficiência do modelo sir quando confrontado com dados reais
(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-10-16) Rodrigues, Elvis Da Silva; Pereira, Edfram Rodrigues
Considering the great importance of studying mathematical models that help understand the dynamics of transmission of infectious diseases, especially the SIR model, This work aims to investigate the efficiency of the SIR model applied to COVID-19 data in the state of Amazonas. To this end, studies were carried out on the SIR model, also on COVID-19 and, in addition, an algorithm was created in Python language to carry out the necessary analyses, comparing with real data provided by the Health Surveillance Foundation (FVS). As a result, we saw that the simple SIR model is not efficient compared to the real data provided by official bodies, since depending on the applications, while the model estimates very high peaks, the real data shows much smaller peaks. In this way, we can understand the discrepancy as being caused mainly by underreporting, since the simple SIR considers that all cases are diagnosed. Therefore, in this work we present an extension of the SIR model to also consider underreporting.

(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-10-16) Silva, Danieli Miller; Marinho, Karem Keyth de Oliveira
This research, of a qualitative nature, made a relationship between teaching practice, based on issues such as teaching techniques, planning, evaluation and teacher x student relationship, and knowledge teachers in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) teaching modality. The research participants were an EJA Mathematics Teacher who teaches this curricular component to the 6th and 7th year classes, classes A, B and C of elementary school at Escola Municipal Professora Jociêdes Andrade and her students. For data collection, questionnaires were used with 32 students and the teacher. In the results, we describe the students' perceptions about the teaching practice of the aforementioned Mathematics Teacher and; that of the Professor about her teaching practices, in which she revealed how and why she develops them, as well as the origin of such knowledge. Given the results, we observed that the teacher uses the three types of knowledge in classroom practice, namely: experiential knowledge, curricular knowledge and disciplinary knowledge, so it was not possible to say which knowledge is most necessary in the classroom, as the teacher stated that for her everyone is essential.
