Item Ensino de cartografia em turmas do sexto ano do fundamental em uma escola pública de Manaus/AM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024) Santos, Yasmin Samara Trindade dos; Wachholz, Flávio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0650631024838097; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1961212071922825; Ferreira Júnior, João Carlos; Santos, Danielle Mariam Araujo dos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8179689636484146This work is the result of a research project to conclude the geography course and refers to the teaching of cartography, which was carried out in 4 classes of 6th grade students at the Olga Falcone State School. The general objective of this study is to analyze cartographic knowledge in the sixth grade of elementary school. In order to carry out this work, bibliographic studies were carried out on the subject, an analysis of the methodological proposal for applying cartography in the classroom, including a survey of students, a survey of teachers and data tabulation. Through analysis and reflection on the results obtained, it was concluded that there is a lack of teaching materials in the school to make cartographic teaching more dynamic and that there are deficiencies in cartographic literacy. However, the research did yield positive results, as there was a good percentage of correct answers in the activities. The students were able to have an understanding of the subject, but with some flaws. But the teacher still makes an effort to ensure that the students learn in the best way possible, linking the content to the students' everyday lives. Key words: Cartographic literacy, Geography teaching, Maps.Item Novas territorialidades urbanas e a influência sociocultural da indústria do K-Pop no Brasil(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024) Silva, Yara Souza da; Thevenin, Julien Marius Reis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4236819062879353; Nogueira, Amélia Regina Batista; Santos, Danielle Mariam Araújo dosThe research investigates the implications of K-pop's influence on Brazilian society, considering its rise from its origins in South Korea to its consolidation as a global cultural phenomenon. The aim is to understand how the success of K-pop in the West, especially in Brazil, has shaped new urban territorialities and contributed to the formation of a shared identity among fans. Given the importance of this cultural phenomenon, the study is justified by the need to understand the impacts that the K-pop industry has on individuals and the community as a whole. The research is based on an extensive literature review, incorporating concepts of urban tribes and exploring the sociocultural influence of K-pop in the West, especially in Brazil. Quantitative data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire, offering a statistical view of the influences of K-pop on different social groups in Brazil, especially in the state of Amazonas. In addition, the qualitative approach included semi-structured interviews with selected participants, providing an understanding of individual experiences and perceptions regarding the influence of K-pop on their territorialities. The research also incorporates the analysis of music in geographic context, highlighting the importance of the musical landscape as a theoretical lens for understanding the interaction between music, space and human experience. Music, in this case, is perceived not only as a sound expression, but as an element that contributes to the construction of urban identities and territorialities. Keywords: K-pop, influence, musical landscape, urban tribes, new urban territorialities.Item Conflito territorial no Lago do Tracajá em Careiro Castanho/AM: uma análise das dinâmicas socioespaciais a partir dos hotéis de selva(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024) Albuquerque , Shaquira Cherlen Rocha de; Lima, Susane Patrícia Melo de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2511581877014765; Soares, Ana Paulina Aguiar; Conceição, Francilene Sales daThe Amazon, vast in its grand extension, exuberant and diverse in its fauna, flora and culture. Its nature is not alien to the logic of capital accumulation in tourism activity, demonstrating the use value of the territory for its different actors, and which, consequently, can lead to contradictions in various perspectives in which they are involved. When analyzing Lago do Tracajá, we observe a vast number of tourist facilities, that is, jungle hotels and inns that appropriate a hegemonic image highly propagated by the media that provides these contradictions between Man and the environment. In this way, the present work is based on analyzing the socio-spatial transformations of Lago do Tracajá through the historical-criticaldialectic method, achieving an understanding of the material and immaterial changes and permanence of the community's relations with its territory and, equally, its relationship with the hotel chain. This cannot be seen separately from spatial transformations, in which they contribute to the emergence of territorial conflicts in Lake Tracajá due to the high demand for the flow of tourists during sport fishing seasons, demonstrating that the commercialization dynamics of the Amazon, in addition to reinforcing generalized views about the region, is capable of influencing the way in which the Tracajá community perceives and reproduces itself in its space. Keywords: Amazon, Tourism, Territorial Conflicts.Item Circuitos da economia urbana na avenida Autaz Mirim, Manaus-AM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024) Mota, Thiago Luis Sousa; Sousa, Isaque dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3444843481197262; Santana, Paola Verri de; Conceição, Francilene Sales daThe study addresses the economic and commercial activities located on avenue Autaz Mirim, in the East Zone of Manaus, focusing on the influence of the State and large capital of industries, with emphasis on the secondary and tertiary sectors of the economy, aligned with Milton Santos’ theory of urban economic circuits. The bibliographic review of the urban space covers Milton Santos, Henri Lefebvre, David Harvey, and Roberto Lobato Corrêa, as well as the bibliography of the delimited study area brings the author Tatiana Barbosa and Heliana Comin Vargas about the sectors of the economy. Following the historical critical dialectical method, from the history of transformations of the urban space related to the Manaus Free Trade Zone, as well as the Manaus Industrial Pole, the presence of capital is contextualized through public policies and infrastructure works, which trigger transformations in the urban space, new economic flows, and territorialities. In this sense, commercial activities of various segments are addressed, from the street market to the transformation industry. Infrastructure is recognized as a crucial component, organizing enterprises and reflecting the hierarchy of central places. Large shopping centers and small store complexes follow similar patterns, indicating a repetition in the structure of commercial proposals. The economic circuits, outlined by Milton Santos, are examined, distinguishing them by the central elements that compose them, such as capital intensive and labor intensive, thus, the upper and lower circuits of the urban economy. The interconnection of these circuits is interpreted as a result of modernization, impacting both specialized and non-specialized activities. The role of advertising is discussed in both circuits, highlighting contemporary technological changes. In summary, Avenida Autaz Mirim is analyzed as a space in which economic circuits coexist, influencing and being influenced by urban dynamics, socio-spatial transformations, infrastructure, and government policies. Its general objective is to critically analyze irregular occupations in the Nova Cidade neighborhood. It unfolds into three specific objectives: to understand the process of irregular occupation in the study area. Characterize the profile of residents, especially those in irregularly occupied areas. Identify the neighborhood's infrastructure, focusing on occupations that began irregularly. The research adopts a critical-dialectic approach, based on theoretical foundations of Urban Geography. The methodological procedures include bibliographical research, questionnaires and interviews with residents of two different occupations, in order to collect qualitative data, in addition to the use of photographs to highlight details about the occupations. Given the data obtained, it was clear how the unplanned growth of the city of Manaus, specifically in the aforementioned neighborhood, resulted in precarious housing, which generates environmental impacts and harms the quality of life of residents of areas of irregular occupation, which conflicts with various legislations that make up urban planning documents for the city of Manaus. Therefore, the urgency of rethinking housing policies and the management of urban development in Manaus is evident. The urban landscape reflects not only the need for housing and access to land, but also the complexity of the relationships between the real estate market, implementation of public policies and unplanned urban dynamics in socio-spatial reproduction. Keywords: Irregular occupations; urban planning; socio-spatial reproduction; urban landscape; territoriality.Item Frações parciais: métodos elementares e aplicações(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024-11-01) Mata, Juliano César Pereira da; Menezes, Alessandro Monteiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2643457179711184; Pinheiro, Alexandra Salermo; Graça Neto, Almir CunhaThis research is limited to the study of partial fractions. The main objective of this work is to present the cases of decompositions and their methods of resolution, applying them to questions from competitions and entrance exams at primary, secondary and higher education levels. To do this, it was necessary to cover some elementary concepts such as fractions and their classifications, polynomials and their operations, proper and improper rational fractions and solving linear systems. Based on these definitions, three resolution methods were developed: The method equaling the coefficients which covers all cases of decomposition, the Heaviside method, and the Laplace transform. The BNCC was entitled by the National Education Guidelines and Bases Law (LDB) in 2014 and aims to provide a common national base that guides the development of curricula for public and private schools across the country. The document guides, among other subjects, the essential skills and competencies that must be worked on in Geography, with references to the cultural diversity of Brazil that must be included in school curricula to seek to promote intercultural education. Analyzing the BNCC from the perspective of Intercultural Education is the general objective of this research, following which the specific objectives were developed: to present the conceptual framework of Intercultural Education; identify interculturality in educational legislation; analyze current legislation on interculturality and its relationship with Geography. To achieve the objectives, the method was to use a bibliographical study regarding intercultural concepts, reports of intercultural education in Brazilian schools, the BNCC, and interculturality in the Geography curricular component in the BNCC document to promote intercultural education. With the study of the works, it was realized that intercultural education was implemented in several schools in the country, and that despite some negative points, interculturality is present at BNCC in the Geography curricular component, affirming the presence of sociocultural groups present in schools. The research identified possibilities for developing intercultural education, so that the school is recognized for its cultural plurality. Keywords: BNCC. Interculturality. In principle, it is important to discover what internships are and how important they are for teacher training. However, little attention has been paid to how students feel about the internship. Therefore, the question arises what perception do geography undergraduates have regarding the supervised internship? Based on this problem presented, the general objective of this study is to analyze the interns' perception of supervised internship in the Geography teacher's teacher training process and as specific objectives to describe the students' expectations related to the internship, identify the challenges experienced by the interns, report how the coordination between the training institution and the internship field school occurs. Quali-quantitative research is then carried out, with a descriptive and exploratory nature, based on the dialectical method. Given this, the majority of expectations were positive in the responses, but in practice the difficulties made it impossible for not even half of the initial expectations to be met. Even so, the internship continues to be seen by all students as extremely important for their training. Keywords: Supervised internship. Geography. Perception. GraduatesItem Os fenícios da América: o território e a organização socioespacial dos Omágua da Amazônia dos séculos XVI e XVII e nos dias atuais(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2024-02-08) Lopes, Felipe Ribeiro da Silva; Campos, Iolanda Aida de Medeiros; Mourão, Maria Helena Carvalho; Conceição, Francilene Sales daThis research addressed the territoriality and socio-spatial organization of the Omágua people in the Amazon, exploring the 16th and 17th centuries, in addition to examining contemporary reality. The general objective was to understand the process of production of the Amazonian space by the Omáguas. To achieve this purpose, the specific objectives included the identification of the socio-spatial development techniques used by the Omágua people, the critical analysis of the conquest of their territories by the colonizers and the comparison of the Omágua territories in the 16th and 17th centuries with the present day. The methodology adopted was of a dialectical nature, characterized as basic research with a qualitative approach. The methodological procedures included fieldwork, interviews and preparation of maps. This research is justified by the investigation of the territory and territoriality of the original peoples. The research's guiding question aims to understand how the "Phoenicians of America" developed their territory. The time frame was the 16th and 17th centuries and the present day and the spatial frame was limited to Aldeia Tururucari-Uka located in the rural area of Manacapuru-AM. The results revealed that in the 16th and 17th centuries, the Omáguas organized their territoriality into chiefdoms, going through a process of deterritorialization and subsequent reterritorialization into Religious Missions. Currently, the Omáguas are organized in villages, such as Aldeia Tururucari-Uka, seeking to reaffirm their ethnicity and culture in the territory. In the final considerations, it is highlighted that, nowadays, the Omáguas exercise their territoriality through ethnic and territorial reaffirmation in villages, such as Aldeia Tururucari-uka. In this context, they develop cultural, social and economic activities to consolidate their presence and identity in the territory. The study contributes to the understanding of the evolution of Omágua territoriality over the centuries, highlighting the transformations and challenges faced by the people in preserving their culture and territory. Keywords: Omágua Community, Territoriality, Chiefdoms, Deterritorialization, Reterritorialization.
