Preposição: Um Estudo Comparativo de Gramaticas Latinas e de Língua Portuguesa

Abstract

This article aims to analyze Portuguese and Latin language grammars, with the aim of providing a comparative study of the word class of prepositions and their use, both in one language and in another, so that we can establish relations of proximity and distance in its evolution to the Portuguese language of Brazil. For this, the bibliographic research method was used, in which theorists who had already studied the subject with contributions in books, articles and theses were searched, and later the analysis of the grammars proposed by this work, namely, the Gramática descritiva do português brasileiro (PERINI, 2016); Gramática normativa da língua portuguesa (LIMA, 2011); Gramática histórica da língua portuguesa (SAID ALI, 1964) and Ars maior and minor of Donato (DEZOTTI, 2011) and grammatical arts Vitorino and Mário Plotio
