Resumo
The present paper is related to the use of robotics in Physics education, proposing a theoretical
model of teaching and learning that employs interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity to
enhance the appeal of physics classes, adopting a qualitative approach. Its main objective is to
develop a theoretical model using the Lego Mindstorms EV3 robotics kit as an educational tool,
enabling the understanding of physics concepts taught in the 1st year of high school, with the
aim of enriching the lesson planning for mechanics teachers. This project was carried out at the
Municipal Robotics Laboratory through the Program of Support for Scientific Initiation - PAIC
of UEA. Through this study, the goal is to demonstrate how the use of these robots can be
effectively integrated into the teaching process, improving the comprehension of physics
concepts and making classes more engaging for students. By employing a qualitative
methodology, the work analyzes teachers' perception regarding the use of robotics as an
educational tool and develops a theoretical model that can serve as a guide for the development
of more effective and dynamic mechanics lessons.
