Polissemias idiomáticas no CEST: um estudo geo-linguístico

Abstract

The present work is about linguistic studies, from differentiated observations in the academic space of the Center of Higher Studies of Tefé - CEST, located in Tefé, Amazonas, Middle Solimões. The research is entitled "Variations and idiomatic polysemias in the Cest: a geo-linguistic study" which has as informing public 20 (twenty) students of the Center's undergraduate courses. The general objective of the research was to know the lexical varieties that make up the grammatical structure in the speeches of the participants, coming from other municipalities of the region. From an interview it was possible to detect a vast cultural richness present in the language of the subjects involved in the study, whose geographical factors are relevant for these linguistic phenomena to occur. The human language used as a form of communication and social interaction is of great value for a study elaborated with the linguistic resources present in the speech of the beings, because they are cultural traditions that favor the communicative processes. The plurality of languages ​​is abundant, so there is a lexical diversity in the repertoire of speakers and, from this premise, new meanings emerge. For this reason, this article focused on presenting the extralinguistic variants of distinct geographical positions as a way of describing the variations that occur in the speech of one people and another. The research was based on Saussure (2006), Marcuschi (2001), Foucault (2008), Labov (2008), Martelotta (2013), Cançado (2013), among others. The research generated results about the study showing the words and / or expressions used in the other municipalities and in the municipality of Tefé and found a series of variations in this interculturality, proving this way.
