A Música “Perfeição” Como Riqueza Literária em Discussão com os temas sociais.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze and discuss social issues present in the song “Perfeição” by the band Legião Urbana, referring to the album of 1993, as an instrument for the construction of the individual in the search for freedom. THE general objective is to analyze the explicit social themes in the production musical. The specific objectives are: to understand the social themes present in the song; discuss social issues with students during the workshops; observe how the ironies in the letter build the meaning of social criticism. The search was based on the readings of the following theorists: BAUMAM (1998) and FOUCAULT (1999). The research was a way of reflecting on the explicit themes in the music, demonstrating opinions through an argumentative discourse, as the music presents itself as a critique of society in an engaged literature, because denounces social problems. From the study on the song “Perfection”, one can to observe in its literary wealth, an invitation through an irony, so that the society in the midst of difficulties can wake up and reflect on the conditions in that lives. The studied musical language, through its literary wealth, constituted from ironies, the social reality of everyday life, involving in verse the complexity of social issues such as: crime, political aspects, lack of security, existing social inequality, precarious health and education, transit, justice, illiteracy, misuse of votes, unemployment, class exploitation workers and especially the media as a social manipulator, which challenges the population, while suffering from a lack of public policies.
