Um Panorama sobre a violência contra a mulher no Município de Tefé no período da Pandemia e pós-pandemia da Covid-19.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand the continuous search for and analysis of statistic data on violence against women in the municipality of Tefé, from 2020 to 2022, based on information on the actions of the governmental and nongovernmental institutions, and services that are part of the women's network in this town. Demonstrating how much we need to deal with this issue, which is currently so problematic in the society, as there are still no articles or books published to date on the historicity of the fight against violence of women in Tefé. In this context, by critically analyzing the violations of these rights, it became clear that, it is necessary to intensify the application of the Maria da Penha Law 11.340/06, as well as its effectiveness in protecting women who are victims of domestic violence within the family. The research methodology is characterized by bibliographical and field research, which is clearly shown, based on statistical data, that, gender-based violence, has grown gradually. This is witnessed in the research, since there is high increase in searching for help by the victims in the institutions that represents this cause. Therefore, there is big need for social control bodies, to fulfill their true role in combating violence against women. Applying the laws in cases of femicide, increasing protective measures, and intensifying activities to clarify the laws that protects women. These is necessary, in order to urgently rethink of concrete and efficient actions that will minimize cases of women violence in the municipality
