Resumo
The study discusses the cultural manifestation of a religious nature called “Santo emmissão” in the Andirá-Mirim Region. Practices prior to the process of institutionalization of communities by the diocese of Parintins-AM. From memory sources, recorded through the methodology of oral history, we evidence: the reasons to become a party-goer; the process of preparing the festivity; the formation of commissions to collect donations for the festivities and, finally, a cartography of the places where the festivities took place, in which the saints were celebrated on their respective dates by their party-goers in the Andirá-Mirim region. The theoretical-methodological dialogues between the social history of culture, memory and oral history allow knowledge about the historical and social processes, objectified in these sociocultural and religious practices, hybridly configured between the knowledge of indigenous, riverside peoples, with emphasis on northeastern people who arrived there. throughout the twentieth century.
