Resumo
Propose didactic alternatives to teach addition and subtraction of fractions
in the 6th year of Elementary School.
To investigate which methodological trends the teacher had access to
their initial training in relation to the teaching of fractions;

Show possible didactic alternatives made with materials
low cost for the teacher to teach addition and subtraction of fractions;
Use manipulative materials such as recycled spinning top, bars
Fractional Disks and Tangram to teach addition and subtraction of
fractions;
Introduce the games: Dominoes of fractions; Fraction roulette; and Game
memory with fractions; as alternatives to teach addition and subtraction of
fractions.
Check what contributions the use of games and materials
concrete results for teaching and, consequently, for the learning of
Addition and subtraction of fractions.
