Resumo
This research addresses the community policing of Ronda Maria da Penha Project:
The State of Amazonas role in reducing domestic violence against women - Analysis
of the triennium 2013-2015. The growing situation of violence against women in large
cities has deteriorated greatly over the years, caused not only by the increase in
population, but also by the lack of public policies to the sector, focused on the
protection of victims, the offender accountability, and family through psychosocial
treatment operation. Therefore, it was required greater State of Amazonas attention in
the search for practical solutions to coping with domestic violence against women in
the city of Manaus. Aiming at the security policy, the Government of Amazonas through
the Policing Program Ronda neighborhood (PPRB), Ronda Maria da Penha (PRMP)
appeared, an Executive Secretariat project Deputy Ronda program in the district in
partnership with other government agencies and non-governmental. In this sense, this
study aims to answer the following question: How the State of Amazonas has been
active in policy combating domestic violence against women in the city of Manaus?
The overall objective was to verify the Amazonas State action in relation to domestic
violence against women in the city of Manaus, analyzing the program Ronda Maria da
Penha (PRMP) in the district area of the 27th Integrated District Police of the capital,
in New neighborhood Aleixo, where he was deployed initially. The research is justified
by demonstrating the relevance of the personal, academic, legal and social, in order
to highlight the contribution and the benefits that the project Ronda Maria da Penha
(PRMP) will bring. After the resulting record of individualized, field survey results show
that the victim and her attacker usually have a steady job, the main perpetrator of the
assault is the partner or ex-partner, the victim has children, the offender does not have
a criminal record and, after the complaint is free, the site of aggression is usually the
residence of the victim, and the main reason is discussion and resulting fight in physical
aggression using tools, the aggression of the period is comprised in the night between
the 19 : 00h - 23: 59h, and on Sundays, after use of alcohol or narcotics, according to
the interviews, as the education of the victim revealed that she usually has complete
primary level until the end of the monitoring of the victims are made 3 visits, in service,
in which includes the age of the victims, most of them it is understood between 20 to
39 years, the offender has between 30 to 34 years. And during the interview, was also
nominated complaints are made by women themselves or other women, the zone more
when such violence is in the north and eastern zones and where complaints are made
are in DIP 30.
