A internacionalização da Amazônia: uma análise sobre soberania estatal e o direito indígena à terra

Abstract

The present work discusses the internationalization of the Amazon, analyzing the evolution of the concept of sovereign state and sources of international environmental law. We seek to examine Brazil's internal and external policy regarding the protection of the Amazon rainforest, as well as its natural resources and historical-cultural heritage. We highlight the right of traditional indigenous populations to land and the enjoyment of natural resources, emphasizing that the efficient protection and management of the national territory strengthens Brazil in the international scenario.
