Intervenção da prática do badminton para escolares do ensino fundamental II: um relato de experiência

Resumo

In this work, an experience report on badminton was presented in the intervention project for the Physical Education discipline for students in the 7th year of elementary school II at a public school in Manaus – AM. The objective of this work was to report the experience lived in an intervention project carried out in a Public School in Manaus – AM. As a contextualization, this is an experience report, as the experience report has been a valuable tool for reflection in educational studies. To carry out the intervention and organize the activities carried out for the students, five male academics from the 6th period of the 2022 Intervention Projects discipline of the Degree in Physical Education course at a public University in the State of Amazonas participated. 27 students of both sexes participated in this intervention, 17 males and 10 females, aged between 12 and 13 years old. The aim was to provide students, through applied classes, with the fundamentals of badminton and the experiences of the game, as dynamic content. Given this, five stages of the applied class were developed: 1) Hold a balloon and hit the palms of your hands; 2) Use the racket and the balloon, in pairs exchange passes; 3) Play badminton, but only using balloons and a racket; 4) Formal game of badminton, now using shuttlecocks; 5) Final conversation circle. It was noticed that throughout the activities applied, the students demonstrated sufficient capabilities in executions, developing a positive point for our training as future Physical Education teachers. Therefore, through the practices applied to the students, the experience of the game of badminton provided the opportunity for everyone to experience and participate in the activities successfully. Finally, it was understood that the practice of badminton for 7th year students aroused a certain interest in the class in which the activities were carried out, and could be used again as content for Physical Education classes at school
