To analyze the resistance profile of microorganisms in patients admitted to intensive care units before and during the covid-19 pandemic. Method: This is a quantitative, observational, descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study carried out using secondary data made available by the Fundação de Vigilância em Saúde Drª Rosemary Costa Pinto. The data were organized in electronic spreadsheets, identifying the main microorganisms isolated according to their epidemiological importance, their antimicrobial resistance profile and possible causes. Results: 26 microorganisms were classified with a higher prevalence of gram-negative bacteria resistant to carbapenems, such as K. pneumoniae, E. coli and Enterobacter spp., however, gram-positive bacteria had a higher incidence resistant to oxacillin, such as SCN and S. aureus . Conclusion: It was possible to identify the main microorganisms of Health Related Infections, analyze and compare their antimicrobial resistance profile in adult, pediatric and neonatal intensive care units
