Fatores de risco do câncer associado ao autocuidado na saúde do homem: revisão integrativa de literatura

Abstract

Identify in scientific evidence men's risk factors and dispositions to develop cancer from the perspective of Dorothea Orem's Self-Care Theory. Method: This is an Integrative Literature Review (RIL) in which original articles published in the years 2019 to 2021, in the Portuguese language, in the BDENF, SCIELO and LILACS databases were analyzed. The titles, abstracts and full texts of the articles were read to apply the eligibility criteria and classify the level of evidence. Results: 18 original articles were identified, of which 10 met the proposed objective, with the most predominant themes prostate cancer, National Policy for Comprehensive Men's Health Care (PNAISH), risk factors, masculinity, sociodemographic characteristics, multidisciplinary action, self-care Conclusion: This review showed challenges regarding men's health, pointing out the lack of self-management of self-care, non-adherence to health policies, stigmas and masculinity, age, lifestyle and others as cancer risk factors
