Desafios vivenciados por enfermeiros na prática gerencial

Abstract

To analyze the main challenges regarding the insertion and performance in nursing and healyh management of nurse graduating from a public university in the north of the country. Method: this is quantitative descriptive research, with a population of 270 nurses. Data collection took prace from february to july 2023, through a structured, self-administered questionnaire on Google Forms with open and closed questions.Results: a total of 141 nurses responded to the questionnaire, of which 123 (87.8%) work in care management, 80 (57.1%) in health management; 86(61.4%) in teaching and 49 (35%) in research. The mention the main difficulties experienced in managerial work: lack of experience, inadequate training and difficulty in interpessoal relationship with an emphasis on the conflicts esperienced . Conclusion: this research allowed us to quantitatively expose the man difficulties faced by nurse in the management role and, from this, broaden our view of the possibilities for improving the management role in health units, thus aiming to expand the profession
