Identify the main surgical outcomes in children undergoing cardiac interventions. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review, carried out in the PubMed, SciELO, Lilacs and Web of Science databases. Results: initially 2329 articles were found and, after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 20 studies were selected, of which 13 deal with short, medium and long-term outcomes of cardiological surgical procedures, 4 present the problems in a more specific way in essential organs, while the other 3 discuss complications in general. Final considerations: the surgical outcome of cardiac interventions in children is considerably positive, considering the main outcomes found, which were low mortality and reoperation rates, significantly high long-term survival rates and the sporadic occurrence of symptoms residuals
