Resumo

With the increase in the production and trade of health products on the world market, it became evident that it was necessary, in the same proportion, to intensify as regulations by the State, and the Pharmaceutical Industry started to be concerned with a key point of its operation: the quality of its products. However, even with so much care, deviations in quality can arise. Market complaints are deviations that go through the entire quality control system and end up reaching the consumer. In this case, itis important for the company to demonstrate that it cares and that it will solve the customer's problem. In addition, RDC / ANVISA No. 301 of 2019 requires that investigations be carried out and appropriate measures taken. For this reason, the present study aimed to describe the market recovery investigation process and its impact on the quality of products in a solid drug pharmaceutical industry in Brazil. This was a descriptive observational study conducted through data collection in the company's quality assurance sector. From the data provided, it is concluded that there was a decrease in the number of RM's throughout 2019, and the interference of quality tools in this process cannot be excluded. It is suggested that those received from RM generate potential improvements in the production processes of new drugs, however, since there are other factors to consider, there is a need for further studies related to RM's x quality improvement processes
