Resumo

The study's theme EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR STUDENTS WITH HIGH SKILLS/SUPERGUNDED: A STATE OF THE ART RESEARCH. The general objective is to understand the perception of public school teachers regarding the topic High Skills/Giftedness. The specific objectives are: a) To know the perception of public school educators about the concepts and characteristics of people with High Abilities/Giftedness; b) Identify the educators' perception about the processes of recognition, identification and educational assistance of people with indicators of High Abilities/Giftedness; c) To analyze the perception of educators about the importance of training (initial and continuing) of teachers for the recognition and educational assistance of students with AH/SD indicators at school. This is a qualitative research, through the State of the Art and had as research locus the Repository of the Magazine de Education Especial of University of Santa Maria, from 2018 to 2021. The systematic review of scientific articles in the Magazine de Education Especial of Santa Maria, in the last five years, indicated a shortage of articles that address the theme of pedagogical practice for the educational care of students with AH/SD, a fact that was evidenced in the tracking of only 6 publications on the subject in the last five years, which gives an average of 1 scientific article per year. This result is incipient from the point of view of the need for scientific knowledge that can update teaching practice for effective educational service for students with High Abilities/Giftedness.
