Resumo

Although the classroom is the teacher's main laboratory, it is possible find non-formal spaces where the environment is conducive to teaching, to learning and research. In Amazonas, specifically in Manaus, there are some Forest Parks, where you can find different geometric shapes, whether in the circumference of the trunks, in the symmetry of the leaves, in the shape of the Victory Amazon or in the heights of trees. These search environments are sources of knowledge that must be explored, both by the teacher and the student. For the teacher, they are methodological alternatives that provide the student with a Diversified Geometry teaching. For the student, they are visual ways to learn Geometry. In this way, it is intended to show students that Spatial Geometry can be understood with real meaning to them. Therefore, it was defined as general objective: to analyze the contributions of concrete materials in teaching and learning Spatial Geometry in articulated formal and non-formal spaces to more specific objectives, namely: • Use different forms of packaging found in stores from city of Manaus that represent geometric solids; • Construct geometric solids with reusable materials for deduction the formulas of their areas and volumes; • Identify the possible geometric shapes found in the Park Florestal de Manaus for the calculation of area and volume; • Analyze the results obtained in the questionnaires, evaluation of learning and participant observation during classes.
