Resumo

As we walk towards the end of the second decade of the third millennium, our The current globalized world is divided between those who manage to participate in the productive occupations and benefit from technological advances and those on the fringes from them. Changes in Brazilian education began more strongly since the decade of 1970. The New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTIC's) emerge as a interesting support for classes. One of the most popular forms of NTIC's within the schools is the audiovisual, like movies. For this research, a detailed analysis of the films of the Star Wars saga was carried out, considering the possible correlations with the contents present in the BNCC and in the PCNs for High School Biology. During the work, were watched 17 hours, 34 minutes 98 seconds of content in a movie from Star Wars. This review process was very thorough and took into account the clear allusions to Biology. After the analysis of the scenes and the BNCC's and PCN's, the relationships of the scenes with themes from the discipline of Biology were connected and didactic sequences Were build. Two lesson plans were applied to 1st grade classes. and 2nd year of High school. As a result, it was possible to see that the students were able to obtain a good understanding of the subjects taught about life generation theories and of the cloning of living beings. Students' opinions on the use of films in teaching sciences show a lot of openness towards the proposal, despite each one having their own criticism or particular estrangement. The opinions of the teachers consulted about the idea of ​​the work showed an open vision for the proposal and the awareness that the audiovisual are important but little used. It can be completed with the work that has taken place. student learning along with the technique, which was carried out with sustained scientific rigor in the literature on the subject. And these results rectify the literature consulted, that audiovisual devices and Star Wars movies promote improvements in learning to Biology in High School.
