Resumo

This academic paper presents a study involving applications of Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE) related to the mixing area and drainage in a tank. Using a methodological approach of quantitative research and descriptive strategy of the results with experimental research procedures using Geogebra software for computer simulations, and obtaining the first-order ordinary differential equations from the construction of mathematical models mathematical models based on physical and chemical laws. The main conclusions obtained were the development of mathematical models that describe the process of process in a tank using first-order differential equations, the identification of the main parameters and order differential equations, the identification of the main parameters and physical or chemical laws that affect these these processes, the optimization, effectiveness and applicability of the models developed. The study indicated that the mathematical models of mixing and drainage in a pond with first-order ordinary differential equations can be easily adapted to adapted to deal with different types of fluids, materials and geometries, allowing them to be applied in a wide range of industrial and scientific contexts.
