Resumo

Today's communication is multi-semiotic, creating a self-image that ideological effect on the way life and behaviour can be conducted. conducted. For the development of the research, the object of study is derived from a phenomenon that humanistic psychology described called the self, whose construction imagery develops a process of idealization appearance Rogers (1985). The corpus of of the work is composed of four photos of selfies, of merely unknown people taken with some famous people. The analysis process will be developed from the Critical Discourse Analysis Critical Discourse Analysis, via Fairclough (2001, 2016), following with the methodological orientation of the Compositional and Interactional Meanings of Visual Design Grammar adopted by Kress and van Leeuwen (1996, 2006), stemming from Halliday's (1994) sociosemiotic theory. It is assumed that, in an interdisciplinary context, understanding the new processes of materialization of discourse by media manifestations in social networks is to understand the new functioning of the discourse in society and its adaptation to the changes that technology imposes to all individuals.
