Duas faces da guerra colonial: os cus de Judas e Mayombe

Abstract

Starting from the context of the Colonial War that took place in Portuguese Africa from 1961 to 1974, this article aims to establish a parallel between the works Os Cus de Judas (1979) and Mayombe (1980), respectively by Lobo Antunes and Pepetela. This study is not organized in chapters, but in sections that intend to focus on the figures of the the figures of the narrators, the metamorphosis of the characters and, in a special the vision that is constructed for Angola with/after the Colonial War that affected Portugal and the Portugal and the former Portuguese colonies in the African continent.
