Memória e história na composição de crónica de una muerte anunciada de Gabriel García Márquez

Abstract

This paper aims to present how fictional constructions appropriate real real events in their production. The composition of Gabriel García Márquez in Crónica de una muerte anunciada, which merges fictional elements based in a real event, through the flow of memory of the characters, consents in the the understanding of studies on the conception of time and space in literature, the relationship between memory and history, memory and fiction, and the frontiers of literature. Mikhail Bakhtin, Roger Chartier and Alfredo Bosi were the basis for the proposed discussion, which meeting point between memory and History. Keywords: García Márquez; history; memory.
