Resumo

Solving equations of the second degree, even though it has a historical element favorable to the teaching process, has been presented almost exclusively exclusively with the use of Bhaskara's formula, making this process discouraging and arbitrary. The general aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of didactic material for solving equations of the second degree. More specifically, it aims to introduce students to the teaching material, as well as its rules. its rules; apply concrete material to facilitate the resolution of second-degree second-degree equations; relate the didactic material to the method of factorization method; to verify the students' progress in the process of solving second-degree equations. equations.
