Resumo
The Science Comunication (DC) is fulfilled by publishing textbooks, comics books, science
magazines, science classes in schools, documentaries, television programs, radio and the
scientific newspaper. This work aimed at analysis how the production of the school newspaper
contributes to the comunication of science among elementary school pupils. It was based on a
qualitative approach, the type of participant research, in a private school of Manaus, with
students from the 8th and 9th of the Year of Middle school, with the collaboration of the science
teacher. For the collection and analysis of the data, it was used as techniques and instruments
to observe the end observation, the Inter-structured interview, the field notebook, photographic
machine, audio and video recorder. The results showed that, for The Scientific Comunication
(DC), the school newspaper is a resource contributing to the autonomy and development of
people, questioning, informed and comunication of science. Postures these observed in the
students involved in the study after performing the stages of production of the school newspaper
that allowed to comunication science through a simple and easy-to-understand language
