Resumo
In recent years, the photovoltaic systems sector has grown massively, due to several factors,
but the main one has been the reduction in technology costs. Small systems can be sold to
people in the countryside who are looking for an alternative to enjoy electricity even far from the
power grid. Most of these people do not have the necessary technical knowledge to manage the
functioning of these systems, taking into account their restrictions. Based on this problem, and
on existing technologies, a circuit based on the Atmega 328P microcontroller was developed
to manage the of an off grid photovoltaic system operation, the device is able to analyze the
battery voltage and the time to define which equipment should work. The system optimizes the
operation of the equipment, avoiding waste and protecting the batteries from over-discharging,
in addition to giving greater freedom to users who are no longer concerned with this control, and
can be away from home for long periods of time.
