Resumo

The presence of visually impaired students in regular schools is increasing and requires changes to meet the particularities of students, especially when it comes to teaching and learning Mathematics. The present work deals with the use of didactic resources adapted with blind students, thus aiming to discuss the difficulties faced by students in Mathematics classes. This study has a qualitative approach, carried out through field research, having as subjects, 1 (one) Mathematics teacher and 1 (one) blind person from the 6th year of Elementary School. The research pointed out that the main difficulties of blind students in relation to Mathematics are related to inadequate training of teachers, lack of adaptation of the physical environment of the school and in the use of didactic resources, as well as with contents such as Numerical Expressions, Root Square, Equations, Cartesian Plane and Statistics and others.
