Resumo
Given the importance of both positive and negative impacts of work,
on people's quality of life and how these impacts may be related
to the objectives, activities and results established and required by companies.
Quality of life at work is understood as an expansion of the way
that quality programs have optimized people's well-being, the condition
of life and employee satisfaction, as well as consequently improving
company results. Quality of life at work results in greater
probability of achieving quality of personal, social and family life. This job
had the general objective of analyzing the Quality of Life at Work, mentioning
some theoretical concepts about QWL, how much it directly affects the lives of
individuals, because when organizations provide a satisfactory environment,
employees present better performance and as a consequence increases
results. To this end, a theoretical basis was initially created on the topic
presented and subsequently a quantitative research, had a sample
validated of 33.3% of the total of 60 employees assigned and active in the sector
import operation of the company Asia Shipping International Transport
Ltd. According to the results obtained, the majority of interviewees have
knowledge on the topic, as well as reporting that the quality within the environment
professional is more important than the remuneration itself and as a perspective,
expect the Institution to offer a solid career plan, resulting in
happier employees in the workplace.
