Resumo

With the development of new energy matrices around the world, solar energy is gaining more space in society. Through the distributed generation system and ANEEL's Resolutions, the final consumer will be able to use alternative sources of electricity to compensate the concessionaire's network, thus seeking to reduce costs in their family or business budget in relation to energy expenditure. The article calculates the economic feasibility of the photovoltaic system and the costs involved in its installation and maintenance in a commercial enterprise located in the city of Manaus-AM. Through the aforementioned system, the aim is to measure the benefits generated for the commercial enterprise in relation to energy savings and the reduction in business budget expenses. The methods used for the development of the work will be to calculate the main financial indicators such as the Net Present Value (NPV), the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and the Payback of the economic feasibility project, the data referring to the feasibility calculation will be applied with assistance from the Microsoft Excel program, in addition to resorting to bibliographical references from articles and books on solar energy and economic feasibility of projects. The results point to the feasibility of applying the resource in investment in photovoltaic panels, with positive NPV, IRR of 37.52%, Payback in 3.61 years and return of R$ 4.69/7.33 kWh for each real invested In the project.
