A utilização de metodologias ágeis na gestão de uma startup de base tecnológica

Abstract

This study aims to understand the use of agile methodologies in a tech-based startup focused on developing a product capable of monitoring water quality in aquaculture environments. The startup under study was already employing agile methodologies in managing its activities; therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze the impact of adopting agile methodologies and their tools on the startup's management, as well as to propose opportunities for improvement to support the project's development. This research is applied in nature, with a qualitative approach, descriptive objective, and case study methodology, seeking to identify behaviors and events that occurred during the evolution of the management of a tech-based startup. From the study, the main findings included identifying the startup's profile, the tools used, and the impact of their implementation, culminating in the proposal of improvement opportunities identified at the end of the analysis.
