Abstract

This work highlighted the role of industrial property in protecting creations, a factor that encourages the sharing of new ideas, technologies and products and drives technological and economic progress through innovation. The project aimed to develop audiovisual content in the form of animation that addresses three subcategories of industrial property: trademark, patent and industrial design. The research adopted an exploratory descriptive approach, analyzing information regarding industrial property and its subcategories and how intellectual property is addressed in technical and advanced education. Furthermore, it collected information regarding the application of audiovisual content as a learning strategy and the design tools that can be used in the construction of teaching materials. This entire qualitative study employed bibliographic and documentary research that included varied sources, such as magazines, reports and official documents. The result generated an animation that addresses the story of a character who developed a new product and needs to guarantee its protection through a patent and the registration of the brand and industrial design of his product, which will ensure the exploitation and sale of his product. creation. The animation was launched at an event held by the stakeholder of this project as a way of starting work to disseminate audiovisual content.
