Physical Education at School is essential for the integral development of students, promoting motor skills and body awareness. However, classes are often limited to traditional sports, which do not favor students’ full and independent learning. The text proposes diversifying practices, with an emphasis on racket sports, such as tennis and beach tennis, which can enrich students’ motor and cognitive repertoire. Objectives: The main objective of the work is to analyze and describe the challenges and possibilities of including racket sports in Physical Education classes, using games and activities to diversify activities and promote students’ motor development. Materials and Methods: Planning and manufacturing of alternative materials were necessary, such as rackets of different sizes, adapted for different ages. In addition, wooden rods were used to build the dividers of the mini courts, due to the lack of resources. The research was carried out with 5th and 6th grade classes at Escola Municipal Padre Puga, in Manaus, with the participation of two groups of students, led by different teachers. Experience Report: The report describes the application of the activities in the 5th and 6th grade classes. The classes were divided into groups, with practical activities involving racket games carried out in different areas of the school. The experience involved the use of adapted materials and sought to follow a single lesson plan for both classes, prioritizing playfulness and motor practice. Reflections and Considerations: The introduction of racket games in Physical Education classes proved to be a viable and attractive option, allowing students to expand their motor repertoire and develop important skills, such as hitting. Despite the difficulties related to infrastructure and lack of materials, the activities contribute to motor and cognitive development, promoting greater body awareness. The use of a global teaching method was highlighted, as it avoided monotony and encouraged students to reflect on their movements. Conclusion: The inclusion of racket games in Physical Education classes is an effective practice for the integral development of students, despite the challenges encountered, such as limited infrastructure. The diversification of activities promotes the learning of new skills, strengthens body awareness and contributes to the formation of healthy habits. The experience highlighted the importance of valuing
