Resumo
The present work aims to analyze the product design process, from analogue production to integration with digital technologies. The research explores the history of design, highlighting milestones such as the Industrial Revolution and the Bauhaus movement, which emphasized the union between art, technology and functionality. As a theoretical contribution, authors such as Rafael Cardoso (2008), Gilfranco Medeiros Alves (2009) are used. Cardoso's work provides a basis for understanding the evolution of the design concept, while Alves complements this vision with an analysis of current methodologies, allowing a comprehensive investigation into the transition from analogue to digital. The study was carried out through mixed research that combines qualitative and quantitative approaches to offer a more comprehensive understanding of the topic in question. This choice was essential to explore, in a broad and detailed way, the dynamics involved in the transition of product design from analog to digital. The approach includes a comparative analysis between traditional techniques and digital tools, thus understanding how analogue and digital practices coexist and complement each other in the product creation process, in addition to identifying the advantages and disadvantages perceived by professionals in the field.
