Políticas de fomento ao empreendedorismo sustentável no Brasil: análise do setor de energia renovável a partir do programa PROINFA

Abstract

This paper addresses policies to promote sustainable entrepreneurship in Brazil and their economic, social, and environmental impacts. The research uses a qualitative approach and explores initiatives such as the Alternative Energy Sources Incentive Program (Proinfa) and the measures of the National Development System (SNF). These initiatives have been essential for diversifying Brazil's energy matrix, encouraging the use of renewable sources such as wind power, and fostering the creation of sustainable businesses. Brazil, due to its biodiversity and abundant natural resources, has vast potential to lead global sustainable entrepreneurship. However, it is necessary to strengthen public policies, expand financial incentives, and promote the adoption of clean technologies. The study concludes that sustainable entrepreneurship is a strategic element for economic transformation, with benefits that include job creation, technological innovation, environmental preservation, and social inclusion, aligning with the global challenges of sustainability and climate change.
