Nível de maturidade e plano de ação para associação da agricultura familiar amazonense.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to diagnose the level of managerial maturity and develop an action plan for an association of family farming in the Amazon region. The methodology was based on a panoramic view of the association’s functional areas and interviews with its members, consisting of a questionnaire with questions grouped into six management areas. The results indicated that the association is at an initial-to-intermediate stage of development, with the management areas of people, productive processes, and socio-environmental aspects showing the highest concentration of weaknesses. These weaknesses include the lack of performance evaluation practices, a deficiency in workflows to support processes and the necessity to reduce environmental impacts. Finally, best practices are suggested to develop actions in these areas of improvement to enhance local management.
