Avaliação dos impactos do Fundo Constitucional de Financiamento do Norte (FNO) nos inidcadores socioeconomicos: um estudo no Estado do Amazonas entre 2010 a 2021.

Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze the impacts of grants granted by the Constitutional Fund for Financing the North (FNO) and how they influenced changes in the socioeconomic indices of the state of Amazonas. To conduct the research, we collected the grant amounts disclosed by BASA regarding grants granted by the FNO and the socioeconomic indices (HDI-M) in its four dimensions between 2010 and 2021. To this end, the study methodology was based on documentary research, and the collected data were analyzed using an empirical model of simple linear regression in time series. In summary, the results of the estimates of the simple linear regression model showed that FNO resources did not influence the HDI-M variables. It is concluded that it was not possible to determine the effect of investments in FNO credit policies on socioeconomic indicators in the State of Amazonas, highlighting the need for decision-makers to review resource allocations.
