Resumo
With the Sars Cov-2 pandemic, society was impacted in several areas of social life. In this sense,
alternatives were sought so that teaching could be developed on a daily basis. Thus, the educational system adopted remote teaching for all Brazilian regions. In Parintins/AM, following the determination of the State Department of Education and School Sports - SEDUC, students joined remote teaching. In this article we analyze how remote teaching occurred in this city, specifically at the secondary level. The survey took place through an exploratory
study, based on authors such as Carreira et al (2021), Carvalho et al (2021), Garcia et al (2021), Martins e Silva
(2021), Oliveira et al (2022) among other authors who experienced and researched the challenges of teaching
during the pandemic period. Thus, the results of the analyzes carried out point to weaknesses in providing qualityteaching in public schools in Parintins, as a consequence of a complex and little explored situation, namely, digital exclusion. To correct this, we suggest demands for public policies that expand formal education through technological means in accordance with the legal apparatus that presupposes teaching through digital media.
