Resumo

The present study has its theme " The Teacher and this his Pedagogical Practice in the face of Inclusive Education in classes 1st and 2 nd year of Elementary School in a Municipal School in the City of Parintins." Its general objective was to investigate the main issues such as knowing the challenging teachers and their pedagogical practice in the face of inclusive education in classes of 1 and 2 years of elementary school. It also addresses issues such as Knowing the challenges, difficulties, pedagogical practice, teacher training, of these teachers in relation to the education of students with special needs in the classroom. This study was based on theoretical sources suc as Monteiro(2004), Mantoan (2003), Freire(2005), Minetto (2008), Caldeira (1994), among other authors who instigate the theme. The methodological procedures adopted are qualitative in nature, with a phenomenological approach and had as a research instrument a semi-structured questionnaire with two elementary school teachers from a Municipal School in the city of Parintins, consisting of 5 questions. The analyzes showed that, in the opinion of these teachers, the school is not yet able to receive these students, due to the lack of experience on the part of the teachers, the absence of pedagogical resources, and inadequate physical structure o the school, thus, the conclusion of this research is that they do not fell prepared to face the challenges in the education of students with disabilities.
