Resumo

This work reflects on study techniques in a multigrade school. The objective of the research was to analyze how study techniques interfere with student learning in a multigrade school. Together are the specific objectives that aim to understand what it is like to study in a multi-grade school; verify how children learn in multigrade schools and; understand how study techniques can enhance student learning in a multigrade school. The study was based on authors such as Cusati (2021), Hage (2011), Silva (2017) and others. And in order to achieve the established objectives and provide a deeper understanding of the topic investigated, qualitative research and a dialectical approach were chosen. The research method used is of the case study type and the technique for collecting and analyzing data is the interview. The study presents valuable statements from the research subjects, which allow us to understand the specificities of the rural school environment and the pedagogical strategies that can be implemented to improve the quality of rural education, through the use of study techniques as learning enhancers of students. The research revealed that study techniques aim to make the learning process more efficient and productive, facilitating the understanding of the content presented by the teacher, and also preparing students for activities and assessments. The study concludes that pedagogical work in multigrade schools must take into account study techniques that lead students to meaningful learning, overcoming the difficulties encountered in the teaching-learning process.
