Resumo

This study aimed to identify the challenges faced in implementing the PIBID in Geography in the city of Parintins-AM during the Covid-19 pandemic. Accordingly, the development of the activities proposed in PIBID in Geography in the face of the pandemic was analyzed, seeking to recognize the strategic methods applied by the program coordinators and supervisors for the development of activities and verifying the performance of the scholarship holders and supervising teachers from the schools who worked on the program via remote and hybrid system. The investigation was through Qualitative Research. As research subjects, we had the participation of 09 Geography academics linked to PIBID, as well as 03 supervising professors. Therefore, as a data collection technique, we chose to apply a semi- structured interview, containing 05 questions for academics and 05 for supervising teachers. The results reveal that despite the challenges, PIBID proved capable of adapting to the new demands imposed by the pandemic. The reflections generated by the research and the results obtained can contribute to improving the program, especially with regard to the development of effective teaching strategies and the training of fellows and supervisors to face new challenging situations.
