Resumo

The ludic as a didactic tool has been facilitating learning in schools for some years, and knowing that genetics is seen by many students as a difficult area within biology, this work aims to present a proposal for a game in third-year classes. high school in a State School in the city of Boca from Acre, in order to show the contribution of playfulness in the teaching-learning process. To achieve the objective, a class was held in two groups, which received first a theoretical class and then the application of a game of the same theme. To assess the effectiveness of playfulness, two questionnaires were applied; one after the theoretical class and another after the game to check the students' knowledge on the subject. The results showed that there was a modification of concepts after the application of the proposed methodology. Finally, the work pointed out that the game contributes in a beneficial way to the learning of genetics of students in the third year of high school.
