Resumo
Given the variety of existing studies on the dialectical relationship between performer and musical work, the importance of historically oriented interpretative approaches capable of contributing to the advancement of studies related to the field of musical performance can be seen. In this context, this work aims to present a case study on the piece Cancion de Cuna, by Leo Brouwer, based on John Rink's approach in Music in Profile: Twelve performances studies (2024). For this, analyses of audiovisual recordings and notations of the aforementioned piece were carried out, and such analyses were based on bibliographical and documentary research. Furthermore, based on Rink's method of creating notations aimed at musical performance, guided by the dialectical relationship between work, composer and performer, the procedural path for creating new notations of the piece in question was described and systematized. It was found that the use of the theoretical-methodological tools presented by the author can be applied to the interpretation of works for solo guitar and can be considered as strategies for achieving a more judicious performance in terms of musical expressiveness, in which the interpreter can appear as an active agent in the interpretation process.
