Quebrando as barreiras: uma análise da acessibilidade comunicacional no atendimento da pessoa surda no Aeroporto Internacional Eduardo Gomes.

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the form of communication accessible to the deaf as a tourist user of Eduardo Gomes International Airport in the city of Manaus - Amazonas, in order to promote the insertion of the deaf 's perspective and his communicational accessibility needs together with the perspective of the airport as the provider of this service to anyone without distinction. Its objective is to Analyze the Communicational Accessibility at the Eduardo Gomes International Airport to assist the deaf person. The methodology used was the bibliographical and field research through an online questionnaire by the survey monkey, with the snowball technique for the two audiences of the study, the deaf and the official of the airport and as a result was obtained the affirmation of the existing barrier in communication of the deaf and the lack of adaptation to the Law of Accessibility and Pounds and suggested proposals for improving accessibility to the deaf, such as the caption for oral communications at both the airport and the aircraft and the incentive to learn Libras.
