Coleção didática de cascas de espécies arbóreas no município de Parintins - AM

Abstract

This study aims to increase the Collection of bark with tree species (wood, fruit and medicinal) found in the municipality of Parintins - AM. The bark of trees has great social, cultural and economic importance for human beings, and has been used for the production of corks, corks, cinnamon, phytoactive and tannins. The peels collected by extractivists are also marketed to the chemical, cosmetic, phytotherapic and pharmaceutical industries, which operate in the national and worldwide phytoactive market. The products are made using active ingredients isolated from plants, as in a drug, or in products manipulated with the use of plants and other components as in a cosmetic, for example. This collection will be available for access by students, teachers and researchers in order to serve as an archive for the identification of plant species, having importance for research in taxonomy, floristics and propagation, as well as didactic material for botany classes, especially plant morphology.
