Resumo
Mathematics is seen by most students as a subject that is difficult to understand and uncomfortable, and is therefore undervalued in classroom contexts. This type of thinking is already quite common in schools, even more so when it comes to youth and adult education. Given this, educational games are being used as a teaching tool to reinforce the student's understanding of mathematical content. Therefore, we believe that it is opportune to investigate how educational games are being developed in mathematics classes in the teaching and learning of Youth and Adult Education – EJA. Thus, for analysis purposes, we looked in the scientific productions of the XIII National Meeting of Mathematics Education – ENEM, to verify whether in these works didactic games are being carried out at the end or even as an evaluation of content, as long as this is a game with didactic purposes, reinforcing their understanding of content in the learning process in a fun way. Therefore, using a qualitative approach, we carried out a bibliographical research in order to analyze the works within the sub-axis Mathematics Education for Young People and Adults presented in the XIII ENEM, 2019 edition. According to the selection criteria, four works were found, the results demonstrated few works on the use of games, with the others covering varied themes. Therefore, we found that these articles use recreational games appropriately and well planned, most of them as a reinforcement resource in mathematics classes, thus contributing to student learning.
